Cape Kaliakra, Bulgaria on Film
Cape Kaliakra is a magical place in Bulgaria. Many stories has been told about the steep rocks. Lonely and narrow, making it's way into the Black sea, one of the stories is that St. Nikolay was trying to escape the ottomans and was running towards the sea and the land was extending below his feet until the caught him. Now a small chapel is situated on the place that they caught him.
Another more popular story is about 40 girls who were kidnaped by the ottomans from the near by villages. They were kept in one of the many caves on the cape and could not escape. They braided their long hairs together, so none of them can change her mind and jumped into the water.
